Two part artist workshop will include:

 

 INTRODUCTION TO DRAWING TECHNIQUES

INTRODUCTION TO EXPERIMENTAL PAINTING

(Instructor:  Virginia Brown)

Course Objective

Part 1

Drawing: 9:00 am – 11:45 am

This workshop will cover fundamental drawing techniques using a variety of media including graphite, ink and charcoal. Emphasis will be placed on the drawing principles of line, form, shading, composition and both one point and atmospheric perspective.

 

Part 2

Experimental Painting: 1:00pm – 4:30 pm

In the second part of this workshop the student will experiment with a variety of materials and techniques to include mono-printing and collage applications with emphasis placed on having fun and exploring new media.
